Myfather’s parents live in New York City.Their names are Ted and Sandra Goldman. My grandfather is an engineer and mygrandmother is a secretary. They visit us twice a year.

Mymother’s parents live on a farm. Their names are Harold and Amy Rivers. Mygrandparents are farmers. They grow vegetables. I like to visit them on thefarm. I like to eat lots of vegetables.

Ihave an aunt. Her name is Aunt Aggie. She is my mother̉̉ s sister. She ismarried to Joe. They live in Green Lake. Aunt Aggie is acook and her husband is a police officer.

Passage I:

Read the following passage then answer the questions below.(5X2=10)

It was midnight when all the family went to bed after watching TV. There was no light and it was dark. Three hours later, a thief entered the house, and went into the kitchen to look for something to eat. When he was walking quietly, his hands touched a basket. He put his hand in it to find something to eat. A dog that was sleeping in the basket caught the thief’s hand. The thief tried to keep quiet and get his hand away, but the dog held on until the thief was forced to cry out of pain. This awoke the people in the house. They took the thief to the police station

The Blue Whale is the largest animal in the world. It is called " Giant of the sea". It can weigh about 150 tons (150.000 kilogrammes). It can be about 30 metres long. Baby blue whales drink 600 litres of their mothers’ milk every day.
